Starting Your Journey

From the beginning of your weight loss journey, coaches are by your side. They understand that taking the first step towards a healthier you is the biggest, and oftentimes, the hardest step you’re going to take.  Everyone has different reasons for wanting to embark on their journey, and a weight loss coach is there to help take your motivations and turn them into your goals. Once you establish your goals, a coach will then help you decide how you’re going to achieve them!

Goal Setting

When it comes setting goals, everyone is different. At Motive Weight Loss Center, our coaches use a state-of-the-art Body Composition Analyzer that looks beyond your weight. It goes deeper into your physical wellbeing, looking at other parts of your body including how much fat and muscle your body is composed of, along with water, minerals, and proteins. Not to mention that it measures your visceral fat, the fat that surrounds your organs, and can often lead to health problems. Weight loss coaches understand that weight is only a portion of what it means to be “healthy”.

Individualized Programing

Once a weight loss coach gets to know more about your body, your lifestyle, and your motivation, it comes time for making a “roadmap” for your success. Because everyone is different, every journey and plan is different. While weight loss is the ultimate goal, the biggest thing your coach wants you to achieve is health and wellness.  What goals may work for one person, may not work for you. All bodies are different, and so weight loss coaches ensure your plan is individualized.

A coach will take everything into consideration and design a program that will get you to where you want to go. At Motive Weight Loss Center, your program will include a full day worth of meals. Weight loss coaches also understand that sometimes it’s not always realistic for people to “stick to the script” or in this case, a plan that is created for you. While sticking to your plan may be easy 6 days a week, everyone has days where they are put in harder situations to maintain the plan they were given.  The benefit of having a weight loss coach includes their help with making the right choices, even when you steer off the path. For instance, say you’re going out to dinner for your father’s birthday, but nothing on the menu is included in your plan. If you reach out to your weight loss coach, they will help you make the best decision on what to order off of the menu to help you continue to succeed on your plan. Weight loss coaches are here to lead you in the right direction and help you in ways that you haven’t been helped before.

Accountability and Encouragement

It’s common to hear that people can’t lose weight because they lose motivation or hit a roadblock and can’t seem to push their way through, and ultimately give up.  Weight loss coaches are there to help you overcome the bump in the road. No one’s weight loss journey is perfect, but the biggest positive of having a weight loss coach is their constant reminder of why you started, how far you’ve come, and why you should keep going. Weight loss coach’s ultimate goal is to see you succeed! Maintenance is Key!

“I’ve lost the weight. Motive Weight Loss Center has their own “Motive Graduate Program” that allows Motive Members who reach their goals to continue their journey with their Weight Loss coach. You’re able to continue to keep an eye on your health using the Body Composition Analyzer. It’s important to keep an eye on yourself and habits, and to hold yourself accountable. Weight loss coaches will always be available to help you maintain your goals, not just reach them.
